POSITION TITLE: HR MANAGER
INDUSTRY: MANUFACTURING
LOCATION: WISCONSIN
DESCRIPTION:
As an HR Manager, you will lead the development, delivery and administration of HR functions and Associate relations for Operations facilities in multiple locations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leadership & Management: Provide guidance, leadership and management for three direct reports and all facets of HR administration, recordkeeping, staffing and procedure development; budget development and management; and serve as a partner and information resource to management. Provide education and training for support staff for career development.
- Staffing: Provide leadership and guidance as well as participate in the selection and hiring process.
- Associate Relations: Ensure fair and consistent policy/practice application
- Responsible for effective, proactive approaches to help develop and maintain a positive environment
- Maintain organizational compliance with all applicable employment law; Provide education, coaching and counseling for management regarding HR procedures, policies, administration and legal compliance; Investigate and resolve Associate issues
- Counsel and collaborate with managers to deliver effective performance feedback, corrective action; and foster the Company’s culture and build relationships.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or closely related field
- Seven (7)+ years of experience in manufacturing (hourly and salary) HR management, including recruiting, project management, leadership and management
- SPHR desired
- Valid Driver’s license required
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR best practices
