POSITION TITLE: SYSTEM SECURITY SPECIALIST

LOCATION: LIBERTYVILLE, IL

DESCRIPTION:

This position supports users globally and would ensure that the right associates have the correct authorization for each of our applications and systems and that our data is properly protected. Also, it would ensure that access is only granted to Client applications once the associate is trained and understands the system. Additionally, it would oversee the annual recertification program of each application and/or system. Finally, it would ensure that electronic transactions into and out of Client occur in a secured fashion.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

(25%) Identify, set security standards for all business critical applications and systems and monitor continued use throughout Client. Including:
Active directory, e-mail, internet, intranet, extranet, anti-virus, firewalls, wireless intrusion, operating systems, SAP modules, QUMAS.

(20%) Manage the SAP security restructuring project.

(10%) Ensure proper training of Client systems and applications prior to associates receiving logons and passwords.

(15%) Devise methodology and oversee annual recertification program ensuring that Client maintains security integrity on all business critical systems and applications.

(20%) Set standards, devise mechanisms, and continually monitor data protection, security and file security.

(10%) Act as the Global ITS audit point person for all internal and external audits.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s of Science (BS) in Computer Science or equivalent degree.

The ideal candidate will process the following:\

• Four years experience with multiple operating environments (i.e. AS/400, Linux, Windows).
• Four years experience with SAP, preferably with Basis.
• Deep understanding of financial and operational auditing.
• Full understanding of the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Applied application of Software Quality Assurance.

Project Management certification.
